XPLICIT
 Monthly Fridays
Xplicit exploded into the Scottish drum and bass scene in January 2005 where it quickly gained respect from DJ's and clubbers alike.
Xplicit's launch night featuring Friction, Baron and MC Eksman alongside a newly found resident crew featuring ENO who was well established on the Scottish circuit from residencies with Spellbound and Mischief. Skye who had built his name through the University Drum and Bass Scene and Tonn Piper who hadn't held a residency in Scotland since Mischief with his talent there to fill the gap which he had left 2 years prior. Shortly after this BZ joined the Team after getting quickly noticed for his ability from playing other nights on the scottish scene. This was the first time someone was bringing up so many people on a one bill regularly with such a strong resident team behind them.
Each Night went from strength to strength building a strong foundation of support from clubbers building the atmosphere thats there today.
With nights normally comprising of not one but two headline DJs as well as residents ENO, DJ Skye and MCs BZ & Tonn Piper, Xplicit is now firmly established as the new hot tip in the ever changing Edinburgh Drum and Bass scene. In their first year Xplicit have managed to cram in an almighty amount of top acts, and with an obvious seductive approach to their promotion, shown in both their flyer design and in the name itself, they are looking to reel in the masses in year two and make sure that they remain odds on for a long time to come.
Since are early start Xplicit has gone from strength to strength through the struggle of Venue closures. With The loss of our first home The Honeycomb and then The Venue Xplicit has settled very comfortably at its current haven The Bongo Club selling out pretty much every night its had there since june 2006.
2006 saw Xplicit spread its wings very quickly running the only Xtrabass tour date live on Radio 1 + 1Xtra which saw Fabio, Grooverider, Bailey , Sappo and MC Verse playing alongside our residents in the 1200 capacity venue with this massively billed line up.
November 2006 saw Xplicit set up fort in The Art School as our new home in Glasgow. This launch saw us sell out the Art School and showed just how much Glasgow has been crying out for events of this calibre.
In December '06 Xplicit also scooped 3rd place in 'The Lists' Club of the year which featured teh biggest clubs in Scotland.
2007 is the start of a new era with even bigger and better events planned and two new residents who are two of Scotland's biggest Drum and bass DJ's Paul Reset (owner of Scottish Drum and bass Label Nerve Recordings) and well respected DJ/producer Morphy (Exegene/Direct Recordings/Urban Takover.)
With mammoth events planned for 2007 Xplicit can only go from strength to strength in its path for world domination.
