After over twenty years of artistic work, Closterkeller are still undisputed leaders of the Polish dark rock scene

From the moment of the band's creation, they've been fronted by the charismatic vocalist and author Anja Orthodox, regarded as the icon of Polish Goth music, receiving credit from the Polish fans with a 'Vocalist of the Year' award

Her poetic, dark lyrics and the specific, heavy and mystical pieces by Closterkeller have quickly become a hallmark of the band, soaring throughout their diverse repertoire

Closterkeller are constantly one of the top Polish rock bands.  In September of 2011 their ninth studio album "Bordeaux" was released, receiving praise from both the fans as well as critics.  Their previous album, entitled appropriately "Aurum" [Latin word for - Gold] is regarded by the editors of "Teraz Rock" magazine, as one of the most important twenty albums of the last two decades
